Both the hood and the coyote fur trim are removable. The hood is adjustable by a cinch on the top.

The coyote fur never freezes, doesn't hold water, and the uneven hair lengths create a windbreak that protects exposed skin, helping to reduce heat loss from the face. This holds as true in urban environments as much as it does in the high Arctic.

The front of the jacket features four drop in military button closure pockets, and two angled hand warmer pockets. The hand warmer pockets have perfect placement to be a comfortable resting position.

The collar of the jacket also uses the black leather lining. The leather used in this jacket provides more structure to it, meaning that as it ages it will retain its shape, and give the jacket even more life.

The front storm placket uses heavy-duty military button closure.

The back side of the storm placket uses a smooth black leather lining. The front closes with a two way YKK Japan zipper, with a Canada Goose pull.

The cuff uses inset ribbed material to protect your hands and keep the arms safe from wind. The outer shell uses leather trim on the cuff.

Canada Goose uses down fill because it is the world's best insulator, providing approximately three times the warmth per ounce as synthetic insulators, ultimately creating a significantly warmer and lighter product. Each ounce of down has approximately two million fluffy filaments that interlock and overlap to create insulating pockets of air, which keeps you warm. When cared for properly, a high-quality down-filled coat will last for generations.

The inside of the jacket has one zip ticket pocket, one drop in pocket near the hem, and features an elastic draw cord to adjust the waist.
