Momotaro Deep Indigo: Restocks and New Fit!

Another new denim coming from Okayama: the Slim Straight fit of the Deep Indigo! The concept of the Deep Indigo is very similar to the Grand Indigo, which has an indigo warp and sulphur dyed weft. What makes them different is the indigo used. The both denim use the darkest possible indigo available, which is actually the same indigo used on the 0705sp Going to Battle series denim. We also received restocks of the tight straight fit, now with every size available.

The fabric is a partial sanforized blend of thick slub Zimbabwe cotton yarns which gives the fabric an uneven surface even though the color gives a smooth appearance. It has a heavy feel, yet after it is a worn for a short time it will become extremely soft. The deep indigo color is the darkest denim ever produced by Momotaro.

The selevedge uses Momotaro's signature pink which represents the peach from the "Momotaro" folklore story. The weft is a super dark sulphur dye giving a midnight black color.
Button fly using custom engraved Momotaro buttons. Navy tonal stitching is used throughout.
The weft is dyed black throughout. Other features include heavy duty canvas pocket bags, hidden back pocket rivets, and Momotaro "peach" engraved copper rivets.
