From Japanese Streetwear Icon Hysteric Glamour - "Nobu" Denim

Nobu Kitamura created Hysteric Glamour or HYS in 1984 in Harajuku, Tokyo, and quickly became a success in Japan. HYS is now an icon for Japanese streetwear, particularly denim, and has become known worldwide. Each HYS piece reflects Nobu's interest in American pop-culture.

"Nobu" denim, named after Kitamura, is the signature denim of HYS. The denim is easily identified by its dark indigo damaged wash and rivets along the front right pocket.
