Mesauring a Kicking Mule Workshop 1950 One Wash denim in a size 32 waist and 32 inseam.

Step 1: Waist Line
Pull the denim at the waist line tight so the front and rear of the waist band lines up as close as possible. Now, measure across the waist band.

Place your tape measure at one edge of the waist band while holding the denim and tape measure tight.

The waist line measurement on the denim is 16.5". Mulitiply this number by 2. This denim measures as a 33" waist. You may be wondering why it measures at 33" on a denim that is labeled at 32". Not all labels measure the same. Kicking Mule Workshop denim measures 1" larger than its waist tag size.

Step 2: Rise
Measure by placing your tape measure close to the crotch and extend to the top of the waist band.

Place your tape measure at the center of the crotch seams and hold the denim and tape measure tight.

Now measure to the top of the waist line. This denim measures 10.75".

Place the tape measure at the center of the crotch seam and hold the denim and the tape measure tight.

Measure 13" down the inseam.

At 13", we measure at a 90 degree angle across the leg.

This denim measures 9" across the knee.

Step 5: Inseam
First, pull the leg out straight at a 90 degree angle to make sure the denim is as straight as possible.

Place your tape measure at the center of the crotch seam and hold the denim and tape measure tight.

Measure down the seam to the leg opening. This denim's inseam measures 32".
